GeT SLO’ing: An Exploration Incorporating the GeT Student Learning Objectives (SLOs)
Summary: This seminar will present an exploration on where, how, and to what degree the SLOs are incorporated in a course at North Carolina State University. In addition, a reflection will be provided about changes made to the course based on the shared work of the GeT community.

Presenter:
Erin Krupa received a B.S. in mathematics from Elon University in 2002. After, she earned a master’s degree from Wake Forest University in mathematics and then taught for high school for four years before returning to school to earn her Ph.D. in mathematics education at North Carolina State University (NCSU). Erin was an Associate Professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey for 7.5 years before returning to NCSU in January. Now, she is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Education where she teaches a wide range of mathematics courses and researches the effectiveness of mathematics curricula and innovative professional development in K-12 schools.
